Metrea Mission Data (MMD) are supporting the national Team GB Junior Roller Derby as they head to France to compete in this years’ Junior Roller Derby Association World Cup.
Owen Varley, MD at MMD “we are absolutely delighted to support Team GB as they head to France for this years’ World Cup. Roller Derby is an inclusive sport with no barriers to participation providing young people a unique opportunity to develop a strong sense of belonging and team spirit.
By attending the world cup skaters will not only learn from expert coaches and officials but become ambassadors for the sport in their local communities and nationally.
We wish the team lots of luck and look forward to following their progress during the competition”.
Beverley Gormley from the team’s organizing committee said “Without the support of Metrea Mission Data it would have been extremely difficult for these 40 young people to represent Great Britain at the Junior World Cup given the cost of living crisis. The skaters, parents and committee members are all grateful for MMD’s involvement!”
