Metrea Aviation Services (MAVS) offers complex aviation engineering, integration, aircraft modernization and upgrades, maintenance, and logistics capabilities. These services are vital to enabling Metrea’s other aviation businesses, and we offer the same high quality aviation services to our customers, ranging from individual aircraft owners, to corporate fleet management, to government clients.
We design, prototype, engineer, and field-test for commercial, military, and government special mission applications for our US government and international defense customers, OEM partners, and private aircraft owners. We have recovered, serviced, and delivered aircraft globally throughout North, Central, and South America, as well as Europe, Asia, Africa, and along the Pacific Rim.
Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul
Metrea Aviation Services is a one-stop Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility specializing in light and medium turboprop and jet powered aircraft. With extensive experience, our team has a rich history of supporting legacy aircraft, increasing value, and reducing operating cost. As a full service MRO, we provide:
- Depot level heavy repair and modification
- Exterior paint
- Complete interior refurbishment
Avionics
An advanced avionics suite is a key component of safe flight operations and a major piece of aircraft investment and sustainment. As specialists in legacy aircraft, Metrea Aviation Services understands the importance of both upgrading existing systems and keeping those systems in top working order. Our custom installations include laser wire harness identification and full engineering support to provide the complete modification package. We offer a complete suite of upgrades, including:

MAVS Parts and Services Catalog
MAVS specializes in a variety of aircraft including Beechcraft King Air Series, B1900, Dash-8, Beechjets, Cessna Citation, Conquest, Caravan, Gulfstream, Kodiak, Westwind, and Twin Commander. MAVS is a full service MRO and FBO, providing quality, efficiency, and cost-effective maintenance products to owners and operators of private, commercial, and government aircraft.

Interior
MAVS offers complete interior refurbishment and reconfiguration. Our experienced and highly skilled technicians will personalize planes with quality leathers and fabrics from our premier suppliers and restore or fabricate new cabinetry to customer specifications. MAVS can also integrate high-performance lightweight cockpit and cabin materials to reduce aircraft weight for improved fuel efficiency and extended duration.
Paint
MAVS offers full service custom exterior refinishing. Our environmentally friendly paint facility and highly skilled technicians deliver detailed paint schemes that routinely exceed customer expectations and enrich the appearance of the aircraft.
STC/Engineering
MAVS is an experienced and leading provider of custom-designed STC applications for Beechcraft King Air, Twin Commander, Kodiak, and Cessna Caravan aircraft; as well as a distributor for the complete line of MSA STC-based modifications. MAVS provides engineering, detailed design, prototyping, and field-testing all under one roof.
Soft Touch Tires
Created in direct response to client requests, our Soft Touch Tires are bigger, stronger, 10-ply tires that provide all the benefits of the High Flotation Gear (HFG) and fit into standard-gear wheel wells. Our Soft Touch Tires provide HFG performance with no aircraft modifications required. Experience the softer ground roll, increased landing options, and greater safety of HFG without the hassle.
Cargo Carrier
Expand carrying capacity, accommodate bulky, over-sized luggage, and maximize productivity of a King Air 100, 200 or 300 series aircraft. With an unprecedented 60 cubic feet of additional space, the Cargo Carrier holds up to 500 lbs. of baggage, allowing operators to eliminate cabin clutter and easily carry luggage for a planeload of passengers. The Cargo Carrier allows for easy loading and unloading of heavy, cumbersome baggage, and comfortably accommodates over-sized items.
Exhaust Gas Extractors
Our Exhaust Gas Extractors are designed to increase fuel efficiency, improve cruise and climb performance, reduce nacelle sooting, and keep exhaust stack maintenance to a minimum on King Air 90s, 200s or B300 series. The venturi-shaped design of our Stack provides for a harmonically balanced, aerodynamically efficient exhaust gas system, which optimizes performance functionality.
