Metrea hosted a Synthetic Training Solutions event to demonstrate our revolutionary simulation platform, NOR.
Last week Metrea hosted guests from UK MOD, allied partners and members of industry at our London HQ to showcase NOR – our cutting-edge ultimate-fidelity platform that delivers the next generation in simulation and training. Guests were provided with a live demonstration of the NOR platform with F16 and Typhoon Eurofighter rigs working together with a JTAC training rig over a local and wide area network simultaneously connecting to F16 rigs in Sweden.
NOR is the most ambitious project to date in defense simulation. Equally rooted in the vibrant consumer technology ecosystem from which we draw talent and technology, and the deep defense capability stacks that Metrea’s air, space and electromagnetic domain businesses have developed.
Metrea Simulations leverages the power and innovation of the commercial gaming ecosystem to deliver cutting edge simulation tools for national security users, revolutionizing simulation and training, as well as integrating deep domain mission data and designing scalable solutions beyond fighter jets.
“Military simulation has fallen below the levels of modern technology with dated graphics, limited user interface, slow development and poor scalability. The NOR platform is a modern approach which uses cutting-edge game tech and high-fidelity graphics to create immersive learning environments for operators. It was a pleasure to welcome the UK MOD, allied partners and industry leaders at our London event; it gives us an opportunity to understand developing market requirements and develop NOR further” Niclas Colliander (Managing Director – MSIM)
